Useful Things

Accommodation
Accommodation will be available to guests from 5pm onwards, with details of where you will be staying are available from the main reception area. Your keys will be ready for collection from your allocated leisure home, chalet or bungalow. All accommodation is to be vacated by 10am on day of departure (except Sundays when you may leave at your leisure). Accommodation should be left unlocked, and keys left inside. A Complementary welcome pack of tea and coffee will be found in the kitchen area. Additional tea/coffee and milk may be purchased from the park shop.

Bed Linen and Towels
All accommodation is provided with duvets, pillows and blankets. However sheets, pillow cases and towels are not supplied although they can be hired from the reception if required. Duvet covers are not available.

Self catering Equipment
Each accommodation unit is equipped with basic cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery, cooker, refrigerator and a microwave. A large freezer is available for guests to use and is found in the Main Building. Gas and electricity are included in the price.

Touring/Tent Pitch facilities
A cutlery/utensils washing up area, Disabled toilet and waste disposal point is available for camping guests (please see site map on for location).

Laundry
A laundry room is located off the downstairs toilet/shower corridor. Available all year round, washing machines cost £1.50 per load and tumble dryers 50p per 15 minute cycle. An iron is also available for your use.

Items for Hire
Televisions and DVD players can be hired for a nominal charge. If you inform us of your requirements prior to arrival the appliances will be installed for you. Travel cots are also available for hire.

Shop
During peak weeks the shop is open daily (except Sunday) and opening times are as advertised on the door. Out of season the shop is opened at various times depending on the conference organisers timetable. The shop sells a small range of products such as basic groceries, confectionery, snack items, drinks, toiletries, stationery, books, toys, cards, post cards, pictures, souvenirs and CD's.

Confectionery and Drinks Machines
Tea, coffee, soup, hot chocolate and snacks can be purchased from the vending machine in the reception area. Change machines are also located at this point. Public pay phones are situated in the reception area. These phones do not accept incoming calls.

Post
Guests can hand their mail in to Reception (by 10am) where we will put it in the post . Guests mail that arrives (up to 3pm) will be placed at the reception desk.

Media Suite
The Media suite includes a large screen and projector and is available for all groups for the showing of films and training videos/dvds.

Transport To Newtown
Public transport to Newtown is limited but there is a plentiful supply of taxi operators ready to take you to and from Newtown. The stagecoach bus operator also passes the centre entrance at 8:05, 10:05, 12.05, 14.05 and 16:05 arriving in Newtown Bus station approx. 20 minutes later. A bus leaves the bus station to the centre at 10.35, 12.35, 14.35 and 16.45 approx. Prices are £1.10p (single), and £1.70p (return), No service on Sundays. Please raise hand to stop the bus.

First Aid
The First Aid kit is situated in the main office. Local doctors can be contacted at Newtown surgery which is open 6 days a week, Tel: 611611 and for emergencies contact Newtown hospital Tel: 617200. A map outside reception gives directions to both.

Lost Property
All items found on site will be placed in Lost Property and kept for 14 days only. Minimum charge for returning lost property is £5.00.
